Since working here, I have adopted 2 cats, putting my total up to 3. My oldest has been with me for 11 years and has kept some of her wildness since she came from a farm. Next on my list is Chase a huge orange cat who looks formidable, but really is a big softy. Last, but not least, there is Grignotte. He is the biggest glutton of them all going as far as to eat the bits of food left by the other 2 cats. What I really enjoy is watching Grignotte do whatever Chase does, they are inseperable! |
Jennifer Heller
Animal health technician since 2003, Jennifer worked at Le Refuge (SPCA) for 5 years. She is a member of our team since July 2008. |

Jennifer has always loved being around animals. Very young, in the playground, she would pick up insects and show them to everyone, often scaring the other girls. She went to their defence when her brothers would tormet them. As she got older, she never grew out of it, she'll go as far as picking up earthworms on sidewalks and put them back on any earth nearby so they don't get squished. |
Josée Cadieux
Josée obtained her veterinary care technician diploma at the Alfred Campus of Guelph University. She worked at Charles River Laboratories in the bone research department for four-and-a half years. She joined our team in July 2009. |

After receiving her diploma, Eve-Marie left her small village to come to Montreal. What a change! On top of all, her landlord doest not accept pets. So you will often see her giving lots of affection to yours, especially if you have a Siamese or a Bengal. Watch out, she might put them under her spell! |
