She loves to travel and never misses an opportunity to go abroad, for example to attend the Western Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas or the World Small Animal Association congress in Prague. She has three feline boarders. Mélibée is 14, Momo is 8 while Patchouli is 2 years old. From time to time they will even let her take a few photos of their antics.

1998 was an important year for Dr. Tessier. Along with Dr. Bourrellis, she became owner of the Clinique vétérinaire Lasalle and adopted Corail, a Golden Retriever pup which she bottel-fed since its birth. Corail has a strong bond with humans and has a tendency toward separation anxiety... what a surprise! His daily companion is Zorro, a 12-year-old cat in top shape who adores Corail.

Dr. Grenier is particularly fond of cats and has been an ''adoption mother'' several times for sick kittens or those too small for adoption. One of her two cats is indeed one she rescued and adopted when it was but three weeks old, a tiny bundle of fur which she bottle-fed and named Pavarotti... because of his habit of singing when hundry! He is now an adult and bears his name better than ever since he has a tendency to be overweight! |
Dr. Julie Gaudet, DVM
