With a Veterinary Technician
Our veterinary technicians are here to care for your companion and support you in their daily well-being. Here are some of the services they can provide:

Nutrition & Weight Management

Obesity in pets is increasingly common. Animals carrying excess weight face the same health risks as humans: diabetes, arthritis, respiratory issues, and cardiovascular disease. Of course, we love to spoil our companions, but it needs to be done wisely. For example, giving a 10 lb (4.5 kg) cat a glass of milk is equivalent to 4.5 hamburgers or 5 chocolate bars for a human!

Our weight management service helps your pet stay in shape without constantly feeling hungry. A technician will assess your pet’s nutritional needs and create a personalized plan: tailored food, exercise, accessories (such as a food dispenser), and plenty of practical tips. Regular follow-ups allow us to adjust the plan as needed.

Behavioral Advice

Our technicians provide practical tips to help you better understand and manage your pet’s behavior. Whether it’s basic training, adapting to new situations, or reducing stress, we guide you with tailored solutions.

Anal Gland Expression

Some pets need help emptying their anal glands to avoid discomfort or infections. Our technicians perform this procedure safely and gently to provide quick relief.

Microchipping

Since January 2020, microchipping has been mandatory for all cats and dogs on the island of Montreal. Implanting a microchip is a quick, easy, and inexpensive procedure! A microchip is the best form of pet identification since it’s permanent and typically lasts your pet’s lifetime. It’s no larger than a grain of rice and is implanted just under the skin between the shoulder blades. For more details, please visit our blog.

Tick Removal

Complete and safe removal of ticks to reduce the risk of infections and vector-borne diseases. A blood test is recommended 4 to 6 weeks after the bite to check if any disease was transmitted.

Ear Cleaning

Our technicians use gentle, safe techniques tailored to each pet.
